Your core job purpose is to support daily plant and harvest operations with farm Irrigation and water application needs. This is a hands on and operational role. A great attitude and being a team player is a must.

During the irrigation off-season and when water applications are not necessary, you will be instrumental in supporting all operational farming activities including groundwork, crop maintenance and agrichemical applications.

About The Role

This position is a fixed term role for 6 months, reporting to the Farm Operation’s Manager.

What You’ll Do:

• Use your physical fitness and brain power to handle and maintain irrigation equipment carefully and efficiently
• Operate agricultural machinery with care and precision
• Perform basic maintenance on tractors, vehicles, irrigators, pumps, and pipes
• Keep accurate records
• Adhere to safety procedures
• Communicate respectfully, making a positive impact on your team
• Problem solve and focus on continuous improvement
