Quintag Holdings is looking for a Farm Assistant looking for a progressive career to be working towards a Herd Manager role in the future.  Quintag Holdings is located 8km East of Ashburton, South Island. With 320ha; Quintag is milking 1150 spring calving Kiwi Cross cows via a 50-bail rotary with in shed feeding, ACRS and in bail teat spray; cows are fitted with allflex collars. 

As a Farm Assistant you will assist in the day-to-day running of the farm to maximise production, key activities include: Milking Cows, assisting with calving/calf rearing and mating Shifting Irrigators, break fencing, managing cows into allocated paddocks.  General good care of stock, weed spraying and assisting with general farm maintenance.

Starting 1st June 2025, average hours required per week is 45 (6:2 roster), 2 bedroom flat - Healthy Homes accommodation available.

Renumeration - $23.50 - $27 per hour

You must be reliable, enthusiastic, and have a passion for farming and animals with 1-year minimum experience.
