Orchard Workers – Summer Work Opportunities

We’re looking for motivated and reliable Orchard Workers to join our team for the upcoming summer season. In this hands-on role, you’ll be performing a range of general orchard tasks, with a primary focus on summer work such as bud thinning, tipping, stringing, and other essential tasks to promote healthy vine growth and ensure high-quality yields.

You’ll work as part of a supportive team under the guidance of experienced supervisors to complete daily tasks efficiently and safely. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical outdoor work, have a good eye for detail, and are committed to producing quality results.

What you’ll be doing:

• Bud thinning, tipping, and stringing of kiwifruit vines to support healthy vine development

• Assisting with other general orchard duties as required (e.g., maintenance, clean-up, vine training)

• Following daily instructions from supervisors and working cooperatively with your team

• Maintaining safe work practices and using tools and equipment responsibly

• Working efficiently to meet daily productivity and quality targets

What we’re looking for:

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

• Physically fit and able to carry out repetitive tasks on your feet

• Previous horticultural or orchard experience is a bonus, but not essential
