JOB OUTLINE - MACHINE OPERATOR: Laser Weeder

With sepcific reference to the operation of the Laser Weeder, the oeprator is required to use a high level of precision and care, ensuring effective weed control across crop blocks while supporting sustainable farming practices. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The core focus of this hands-on operational role is to efficiently and safely drive, operate and coordinate the laser weeder machine while collaborating with the wider groundwork, management, harvest, planting, and irrigation teams. Machine Operators are responsible for their respective vehicles and machinery & their operations, and maintaining LeaderBrand quality standards, health & safety and compliance requirements.
