Become a Team Leader and be responsible for a cherry-picking crew. Gain practical leadership experience and work on your own leadership style as you guide and motivate your team.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you’ll guide a crew of 14+ pickers through each harvest day – supporting them to pick quality fruit, stay safe, and meet performance targets.

What the job involves:

• Managing your team to meet daily harvest goals

• Monitoring fruit quality and providing on-the-spot training

• Giving feedback to pickers to help them improve and stay on target

• Keeping accurate records such as timesheets

• Ensuring your team follows all Health & Safety procedures

• Supporting and motivating your team to perform their potential

• Early morning starts (between 6am – 7am) – leaving your evenings free to relax

What We’re Looking For

You’re someone who enjoys responsibility, can handle challenging situations and thrives in a people-focused role.

You are:

• A clear communicator – able to give updates and feedback, explain tasks and communicate effectively

• Calm under pressure and flexible in adapting plans & priorities as situations change

• Experienced in leading a team, OR you’re keen to gain leadership experience

• Empathetic and approachable – people naturally look to you for support

• Organised with a keen eye for detail
