Join our Quality Control team and make sure only the best cherries leave our packhouse!

About the Role

As part of our Quality Control crew, you’ll ensure every box of cherries meets our premium standards. You’ll check grading accuracy, weights and labels, keep detailed records and communicate to the team to keep quality consistent under pressure.

What the job involves:

• Checking cherries meet grading standards during packing

• Sampling and testing in-process and final product

• Conducting consistent box checks with the QC team

• Verifying box weights and label accuracy

• Keeping accurate and complete QC records

• Working in cool packhouse conditions – perfect for Central Otago summers

• From peak season on, working either early morning shifts (~6:00 am start) or late afternoon/evening shifts

What We’re Looking For

Experience is great, but attention to detail, focus, and the right mindset matter most.

You are:

• Highly detail-focused, even under pressure

• Able to prioritise tasks and stay organised

• A confident communicator and positive team player

• Proactive and able to motivate others

• Flexible and adaptable to changing production needs

• Ideally experienced in cherry packing, QC, or familiar with grading standards (bonus)

• Committed to continuous improvement and high standards
