About the Role

As part of the Coolstore crew, you’ll stack and move pallets, check labels, keep accurate shipment records, and maintain high hygiene and safety standards — all while working in refreshingly cool conditions during the Central Otago summer.

What the job involves:

• Stacking boxes of cherries onto pallets

• Checking labels for accuracy

• Assisting with accurate shipment records, including packing lists and delivery notes

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic coolstore environment

• Following all safety procedures and standards

• Working closely with your supervisor and team to keep things running smoothly

• From peak season on, working either early morning shifts (~6:00 am start) or late afternoon/evening shifts

What We’re Looking For

You’re a team player who’s organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working in cool conditions.

You are:

• Able to lift and move packed fruit and packing materials safely

• Proactive, enthusiastic, and a good communicator

• Detail-focused with strong prioritisation skills

• Flexible and adaptable to changing demands

• Experience in a coolstore environment is a bonus, but not essential

• Committed to safety, hygiene, and continuous improvement
