We’re looking for reliable pickers to join our team for the kiwifruit harvest starting 5th March in Gisborne.
Work outdoors, stay active, and be part of a friendly, international crew.

📅 Season & Flexibility

Start date: From 5th March
Finish: Until kiwifruit picking is fully completed (weather & crop dependent)

Work is dependent on fruit clearance tests, especially in the first week, and becomes more continuous from around 6th/7th of March onwards.
Some days we must wait for lab clearance before picking can begin.

✨ What We’re Looking For

• ✅ No experience needed — full training provided in safe kiwifruit picking

• 💪 Physically fit and able to work on your feet

  • Must be able to wear a full picking bucket (approx. 15–20 kg) on your shoulder

• 🤝 Enjoy working with people from around the world

• ⏱ Reliable, punctual, and able to handle changing daily plans

• 👍 Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

💰 Pay & Hours

• $27/hr (includes 8% holiday pay)

  • $25 + 8% holiday pay

  • Additional incentives will be offered based on productivity.

• Hours are weather and clearance dependent

  • Some days may start late, finish early, or be cancelled

  • Other days may be longer once blocks are cleared

📝 Requirements

• Legal right to work in New Zealand (Working Holiday Visa welcome)

• NZ bank account & IRD number

• Able to stand, walk, reach overhead, and wear a picking bucket for long periods
