PURPOSE AND OVERVIEW

Sybton Horticulture Limited was created in March 2018, and is a young, dynamic company based in Kerikeri and the Eastern Bay of Plenty. The company’s purpose is to manage a diverse range of horticultural crops, in practice predominantly Kiwifruit and Avocados. 

The role of the Orchard Employee is essential to the continuation of Sybton Horticulture. It is focused on completing essential tasks in the orchards as per instructions from Orchard Managers and Orchard Supervisors. It is imperative that orchard workers are able to listen to and follow instructions, as well as working independently when necessary to complete the task at hand.

To be successful in this role, you must:

·      being able to listen carefully and carry out instructions fully.

·      have some horticulture knowledge or be willing to learn about kiwifruit and avocados.

·      be punctual and reliable.

·      communicate clearly with your supervisor and manager.

·      be a team player.
